Good facilitities and location, where we can easily meet beautiful people. The water fountain is definitely a plus. But the most important is that Neema's service (at the reception) was the best I've seen in Tanzanie ! She's a ray of sunshine : so nice, efficient, and helpful.

I had the privilege to visit Makofi last week, and even tho i wasn’t a guest in, the full staff specially Kanuni & Neema gave me an Excepcional attention and service.

Beautyful location and atmosphere!!Clara who was taking care of us was amazing!!Extremely kind and professional !She suggested us to get the mojitos with passion fruit that were absolutely delicious.Wonderful food I would suggest the pizza,the coconut fish dish and the tuna carpaccio .Because of Clara and the way she took care of us and the quality of food and drinks we have been coming since then almost every day at least for an afternoon aperitivo!

I stayed in one of the female dorms at Makofi. Everything was clean, food was good and everyone who worked there was always super friendly! I’d recommend booking your excursions here as well since it’s cheaper than at most other places. 1 minute to the beach and lots of great restaurants around. Definitely recommend staying here!
